Writing: Not everyone loves writing as much as I do, but that doesn’t mean it has to be hard. I can help your child find something to love about writing, and to get around his or her personal writing blocks. I can also help with specific assignments for any subject.
SAT/ACT Prep: Success on these tests is necessary for getting accepted into American universities, but they often show how well a student tests more than how much a student knows. Luckily, there are ways to prepare for these exams, and I can help your child learn the tricks of standardized testing so the score matches his or her actual knowledge.
Study Skills: In a time where kids are being pulled in all directions by their commitments, their cell phones, and their social networks, focusing on schoolwork can be difficult. Rather than forcing students into antiquated study habits, I teach study skills that work with and benefit from the culture they are familiar with.
