About Me

I’m a masters student in humanities at the University of Chicago interested in culture and philosophy, and specifically how technology changes how we exist.  I am a life-long student, which means, of course, that I’m a teacher.  I had a short, intense life in social media marketing that led me quickly back to learning and teaching.  I want to know how to best teach our youth how to learn and how to live, but I want to think about it in the language they speak: technology.  In my work, I try to merge post-post-(post?)-modern social constructionism with phenomenology and ethics.  I write about everything from Facebook to body image to football. I don’t always think in long-post format (or always in complete thoughts, for that matter). For my quick reactions to the world, find me on Twitter or Tumblr, or find out more about me here.
